When the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) decided to conduct a survey for K-12 arts educators, I knew what interested me most in learning from the survey. I needed to know what professional development would be beneficial for arts educators to enhance their teaching experience in schools. I also was very interested in specific questions with regard to RACC’s future arts education programing. What was needed in our community? What did they know and not know? What was missing?
